Hi, my name is Butch Ewing. No, I'm not a pirate. I wear this eye patch because I have a rare form of cancer called Ocular Melanoma. Ocular Melanoma affects only six out of a million people each year. There is no known cause and about a 50% mortality rate.
Because of early detection and recent advances in modern medicine, I'm celebrating my three year cancerversary! But there is no cure for cancer.
